Since summer 2014, the Beyoglu Municipal Police in Istanbul have had their daily routines transformed with electric unicycles.
Speeding past their fellow citizens on Istiklal Street, which is the equivalent of London’s Oxford Street, they have far greater visibility and attend criminal incidents noticeably quicker.
Electric unicycles are controlled by body movement rather than via handlebars, enabling the police to use both hands to prepare for almost any situation!

Electric unicycles make great all terrain devices due to their larger wheel size, enabling military personnel to cover ground quickly and silently, either for patrol or combat purposes.
